### vp_session
Every visitor to the site has a session cookie to aid abuse mitigation. For logged in users this cookie allows you to stay logged in as you browse from page to page. This cookie is a long random set of letters and numbers and lasts as long as your session on the site.
You will notice that when you sign out you are asked to press a button. This clears the session state associated with your use of the site. To do this it associates vp_session with a new random value.
### eucookie
An eucookie is created when you first visit the site. It keeps track of whether the site has told you it uses cookies. This is to comply with European Union legislation.
The value of the cookie is "1". It has a life of 330 days.

A cookie to tell the browser it has already got all the fonts it needs.

### csrf Cookie (Cross Site Request Forgery)
The site sends a cookie to the browser when there is form on the page.
The site uses this cookie to ensure that only forms on a Voicepattern site page can send data back to Voicepattern. The csrf token cookie is a random set of letters and numbers that the server keeps a copy of when it publishes a form.
If the two numbers match when the form is submitted it is processed normally.
If the numbers do not match a security page is shown.
Due to technical limitations this cookie expires in one year or when
replaced by the next load of a page containing a form.
### Session storage
Session storage is a temporary storage area in your browser. Anything in the store is deleted when the browser is closed. We use Session Storage to present you with relevant information in a helpful context.
Voicepattern is in demo mode at present and does not collect or process personal data.
However, cookies, as detailed below, are necessary to deliver a realistic demonstration.
