I don't want to go off on a tangent but do we really need to publish a new book.

The way I see this working is that as long as the Association is based on subscriptions then the leadership pay attention to the members. As soon as the Association becomes involved in commercial ventures whereby money is brought in from publishers and the like, then that becomes the focus.

When the money starts coming in then the people who work for the Association can start acting like they are managers of a private company. I know we have trustees, and they do a marvellous job, but they don't really have the time or training to really keep tabs on things like this.
